      Rich was a great songwriter whose life was cut short in a car accident heading to do a charity event.

         Oh I did not know he died – I think I remember one of his hits from years ago — I was going to actually look later because your post made me curious –
         And wow – how sad –
         However – was just talking to someone about how the day of death is appointed – and while our time is here is a true gift – this is not our real home and I really believe the day of death is appointed for us all!
         Our community lost two young guys in April – one was born in ’98 and my hubs said seeing that date really tugged at his heart!
         And well – me too!
         Anyhow – God knew that Rich would go home at that time and on the way to that event and he might even be on your welcome team for you when you arrive in heaven!
         My dads always said “when our number is up it is is up” or like the song says – when the roll is called up to yonder I’ll be there-
         Anyhow – happy 4th to you
