Vision Statement:
The creative concept behind this blog is to provide spiritual insights. As I study God’s Word and unpack its depth the more God reveals those “ah-ha moments.” Those “ah ha moments” I like to share and get your input. I will attempt to present those to my readers in a simple and practical way.
Mission Statement:
My mission is to provide a transparent look into what drives my love for those outside of God’s grace. I promise to attempt to tackle difficult topics with humor and compelling personal stories. These issues will challenge you. Sometimes they will shake your worldview, but I believe you will enjoy the journey. I invite you to sign-up and strap in tight and enjoy the ride.
Culture Statement:
- I am a Southern boy now trapped in the Midwest for the last 20-plus years.
I was born a Southern Baptist, but at an early age, 6, converted my immediate family to Lutheranism. At the age of six, I was baptized into the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod while bringing along my mother, brother, and two cousins. - My homeland is Louisiana, my African immigrant friends say that my heritage is Kenyan, but my citizenship is not of this world, it is heaven.
- I write from a Christian world-view with no apology for doing so. My faith is my foundation.
Your words are so beautiful and your talent shines through!I really enjoy your posts and I know that I could learn so many beautiful and inspiring things about God from you,so I will surely stick around.
I hope you will accomplish everything you have in mind and so much more!

I don’t quite know why but I feel I was led to your blog. It’s a shame you feel trapped in the Midwest but I understand. I’m Michigan born and raised but was forced against my will to live in Illinois for 3 and a half years.

I’m a country lady so I think I have an appreciation for your love of the south. So much of even northern rural life is so similar to the southern life.
